House of Vineyard and the Amsterdam Museum present the exhibition Grand March: A Historic House through a Ballroom Lens. This exhibition is a collaboration with House of Vineyard, the first ballroom house in the Netherlands. Within the rooms of the Amsterdam Museum location Huis Willet-Holthuysen, House of Vineyard showcases the power of ballroom culture through radical fashion interventions and art installations. The exhibition is a celebration of queerness, a testament to the perseverance of spirit, and a tribute to a group of people who refused to be invisible.

As trailblazers of the Dutch scene, House of Vineyard explores the power of ballroom, which involves themes such as resistance, community building, and self-expression. For the exhibition Grand March: A Historic House through a Ballroom Lens, the ballroom house House of Vineyard takes the visitor through the historical spaces of Huis Willet-Holthuysen from the perspective of the contemporary ballroom scene. This is achieved by enhancing the spaces of the Amsterdam mansion with installations featuring fashion, jewelry, photography, and visual arts.

De tentoonstelling is een samenwerking met House of Vineyard, het eerste ballroomhuis in Nederland. In de kamers van Amsterdam Museum-locatie Huis Willet-Holthuysen toont House of Vineyard met radicale mode-interventies en kunstinstallaties de kracht van ballroomcultuur.
