Want to escape King's Day's patriotic madness in the big cities? Then join us on a hike in National Park Drentsche Aa in the quiet northeastern province of Drenthe! 🧭👩🏽‍🌾🌾

During our hike we we will time travel to the Stone Age and pass some interesting sights such as the 'hunebedden' (prehistoric portal tomb stones), a creek, Celtic fields and quaint but slightly backward towns 🪨🪦💧☘️🔙

As usual, we start meeting at Utrecht Centraal (beneath the light cloud art installation inside of the station) at 10:30. From there, the train will depart at 10:49 to Assen (direction Groningen). We arrive there and start walking at 12:24. If you come by car, you can park at the station.

If you signed up and cannot make it in the end, please cancel your attendance so we know how many people will show up.

Wil je ontsnappen aan de patriottische gekte van Koningsdag in de grote steden? Ga dan met ons mee op een wandeling in het Nationaal Park Drentsche Aa in de rustige noordoostelijke provincie Drenthe! 🧭👩🏽‍🌾🌾

Tijdens onze wandeling zullen we terugreizen naar de Steentijd en langs enkele interessante bezienswaardigheden komen zoals de 'hunebedden' (prehistorische portaalgrafstenen), een beek, Keltische velden en schilderachtige maar enigszins achtergebleven dorpen 🪨🪦💧☘️🔙

Zoals gewoonlijk beginnen we met verzamelen bij Utrecht Centraal (onder de lichtwolk kunstinstallatie binnenin het station) om 10:30. Van daaruit vertrekt de trein om 10:49 naar Assen (richting Groningen). We komen daar aan en beginnen met wandelen om 12:24. Als je met de auto komt, kun je parkeren bij het station.
