Concert - Sugababes
Sugababes
In Paradiso - Main Hall
Doors: 19:00, Support: 19:30, Main programme: 20:30
The London band Sugababes emerged in 1998 from singers Siobhán Donaghy, Mutya Buena and Keisha Buchanan and broke through two years later with their debut single 'Overload'. Sugababes are known for their recognizable, original R&B and pop sound full of vocal harmonies. The three-piece group has scored huge hits over the years with songs such as 'Freak like Me', 'Round Round' and 'Push the Button' and is seen as one of the most successful vocal pop groups in English music history. In 2004, Sugababes gave their first concert in Paradiso.
Over the years, Sugababes underwent several line-up changes. Siobhán Donaghy left the group in 2001 and was replaced by Heidi Range. Mutya Buena left in 2005 and was replaced by Amelle Berrabah. Keisha Buchanan left the group in 2009 and Jade Ewen joined as her replacement. However, since 2011, Sugababes has returned to their original line-up, with which the band and a full live band can be seen twice in Paradiso in September, nineteen years after the band first performed in Paradiso.
