Drag make-up workshop
In March 2024, the annual Queer History Month will be held in the Netherlands for the fourth time. CODA is participating again this year! This year, CODA's programming focuses on drag, complementing the exhibition Drag Power - Gender, pride & glamour, which was on display from November 3, 2019, through March 1, 2020, at CODA.
The program consists of two activities, including a Drag makeup workshop by Make Up Sisters. As a welcome, everyone receives a glass of prosecco. The workshop is for all sexy drag queens and kings in the making, but also for anyone who just wants to spend an afternoon with drag makeup. During the workshop, you'll learn to let go of all your inhibitions and see exactly what drags need to do to achieve the result they want. The professional makeup artists guiding the workshop have extensive experience with drag makeup and entertainment, so you get the complete picture.
So, if there's a queen or king inside you and you want to learn or improve makeup skills so you can steal the show, everyone is welcome! Let yourself be inspired!

In maart 2024 vindt voor de vierde keer de jaarlijkse Queer Geschiedenismaand in Nederland plaats. CODA doet ook dit jaar weer mee! Dit jaar staat de programmering van CODA in het teken van drag, aanvullend op de tentoonstelling Drag Power - Gender, pride & glamour die van 3 november 2019 t/m 1 maart 2020 te zien was in CODA.
Het programma bestaat uit twee activiteiten, waaronder een Drag make-up workshop door Make Up Sisters. Als welkom krijgt iedereen een glaasje prosecco. De workshop is voor alle sexy dragqueens en -kings in spé, maar ook voor iedereen die het leuk vindt om gewoon eens een middagje met drag make-up bezig te zijn. Je leert tijdens de workshop om al je remmen los te laten en krijgt precies te zien wat drags moeten doen om het resultaat te bereiken dat ze willen. De professionele visagistes die de workshop begeleiden hebben veel ervaring met drag make-up en entertainment, waardoor je het totale plaatje (mee)krijgt.
