Lecture: 'As Long As You Are Happy'

On May 16, we will organize the lecture “As long as you are happy” with journalist and author Jessica Geel in honor of the IDAHOT. She believes that we hear too few personal stories about what it is like to be gay, lesbian, queer, gay or bi.

With excerpts from conversations with Nicolaas Veul, Romana Vrede, Paul de Leeuw, Barbara Barend and Carry Slee, among others, Jessica takes you into the world called LGBTQIA+ in this lecture. About coming out, marriage, gay connection, Grindr and anti-gay violence. About the LGBTQIA+ community of today and the difference compared to, say, twenty years ago. And: about love and sex.
