MIAUW On Stage 2023
Do you find all those LGBTQI letters complex? Main character Jelle thinks so too. One day this tough hetero ends up in Queerland. A country where he has no business at all. It is up to the flamboyant locals to show this lost stranger the way home.
To do this, they must make an exciting journey through a colorful diversity of musical, danceable and eye-catching obstacles from the Rainbow community. Can our hysterical heroes manage to avoid the evil Red Diamond? Will our heterosexual protagonist return unscathed to where he came from?
With this unique theater production from our own home, MIAUW concludes the Rainbow Days in an appropriate manner. The most beautiful thing? Queerland the Musical can be viewed completely free of charge. Be quick. Because the number of seats during this theatrical premiere in the Hertog Jan Zaal is (very) limited.
After the show, we cordially invite our visitors to end the theater evening in the Metropool Music Café. At the closing drinks we not only look back on a historic evening, the program of Regenboogdagen 2023 is also behind us. You can definitely dance to the DJ's festive tunes until the early hours.

Vind jij die LHBTQI-letters allemaal maar complex? Dat vind hoofdpersoon Jelle nou ook. Op een dag belandt deze stoere hetero in Queerland. Een land waar hij helemaal niks te zoeken heeft. Aan de flamboyante locals de taak om deze verdwaalde vreemdeling de weg naar huis te wijzen.
Hiervoor moeten ze alleen wel een spannende reis maken langs een bonte diversiteit aan muzikale, dansbare en oogstrelende obstakels uit de Regenbooggemeenschap. Lukt het onze hysterische helden om de kwaadaardige Red Diamond te ontlopen? Keert onze heteroseksuele hoofdpersoon zonder kleerscheuren terug naar waar hij vandaan komt?
Met deze unieke theaterproductie uit eigen huis sluit MIAUW de Regenboogdagen op passende wijze af. Het allermooiste? Queerland the Musical is helemaal gratis te bewonderen. Wees er snel bij. Want het aantal zitjes tijdens deze theatrale première in de Hertog Jan Zaal is (zeer) beperkt.
Na de show nodigen we onze bezoekers van harte uit om de theateravond af te sluiten in het Metropool Muziekcafé. Op de slotborrel blikken we niet alleen terug op een historische avond, ook het programma van Regenboogdagen 2023 is achter de rug. Op de feestelijke deuntjes van de DJ mag absoluut gedanst worden tot in de late uurtjes.
