STORYLINE

Three showgirls - two drag queens (Hugo Weaving and Guy Pearce) and a trans woman (Terence Stamp) - from Sydney are tired of life in the big city. The trio decides to accept an invitation to perform in Alice Springs, in the middle of the desert. In their old "budget Barbie camper" named Priscilla, they embark on a journey full of comedic, bizarre and dangerous adventures and encounters. Horizons are broadened, comfort zones are stepped out of, and ABBA is honoured at all times.

On September 2nd, the very first Pride in Leiden finally takes place. In Kijkhuis the party starts already on Thursday, and what better way to start it than with this delicious musical 90s hit? And yes, that also includes Stoli & tonics!
