Orphic Amsterdam: Queer Christmas Dinner

Family, loved ones, Christmas trees and presents: the most wonderful time of the year, right? However, this is not the case for everyone. For many people who grew up in unstable families, were not accepted to be who they are, grew up in poverty or experienced loss or abuse, Christmas can be a time of trauma and trigger. Within the Queer Community, we see many folks who do not have a safe and warm place to go to during Christmas.

That is why it is so important to spend these days with people who see us as we are, who love and accept us, and are genuinely happy to be with us. So for this year's Christmas, we want to invite you to come celebrate the holidays with your chosen family.

@de_sering will host us for Testtafel. A 7 course vegan dinner, costing €35-€65 (ex. drinks), up to you to decide how much you can miss. Dinner is from 7-10pm, and afterwards we will have a small Orphic rave, with @aboda_saad and @soriel_nl_ofc

When reserving via the ticket link , we ask everyone to pay €10 upfront, so we know who are coming. If you cannot come after paying, reach out to de Sering to get your money back, and give the place to someone else.

We don’t make any profit from this event, all profits go to de Sering.
