Together with the oldest buildings in the city, this courtyard will host the Pink Podium at Museum aan de A during Pink Saturday. Here, you'll find the story café "Onze Roze Geschiedenis/Our Pink Past," a reading table with reprints from the time of Dikke Trui, Dorothy’s pop-up bar, and… Drag me to the A. None other than Lola Lasagna, the deputy director of Museum aan de A, along with her friends such as Lesmita Queen, Miss Latifah, and Tezz Tozzterone, will put on an unparalleled, spectacular show! The Pink Podium is powered by Noorderpoort, Hanze, Terra, Dorothy’s Bar, and Museum aan de A.

13:00 - 20:00 Women were fed up. Tired of being marginalized, harassed, and not counted in society. Dikke Trui was the place where women came together to take action. Michiel Teeuw, Iris Rijnsewijn, and Hannelief Schipper conduct archival research on Dikke Trui, examining both activism and queer themes within this archive. They curate a reading table where you can view various reprints.

The Sweeties

14:00 - 14:30 They were sweeties… and they still are… Itie Beentjer and Nan Hendriks, now Pink Oldies, still play, sing, and swing together with partly their own Pink lyrics and music. The ladies accompany themselves on various instruments, with a focus on Irish folk and a touch of Pink fun. Experience the magic of Pink Pleasure!

Transfer of Dikke Trui Archive to Groninger Archives

15:00 - 16:00 Bartender Inez Grondhuis has been involved in the women's movement in Groningen since the 1970s. She has several boxes of documents from that time in her attic from women's cafés Dikke Trui, De Del, Derde Dame, and De Koningin. From guest books to posters, program booklets, and minutes. Important documents that tell a lot about the history of women, women's movements, and feminism. Inez officially hands over this archive to Sebastiaan Vos of the Groninger Archives on Pink Saturday.

Café Ons Roze Verleden – Our Pink History

15:00 - 16:00 Bartender Inez Grondhuis, 68 years old, has been active in the women's movement in Groningen since the 1970s. At her bar in Museum aan de A, she welcomes guests from the time of women's cafés Dikke Trui, De Del, Derde Dame, and De Koningin. Support young talent and find unique artworks. Usually only seen during Impressfest, but now also during Pink Saturday at Museum aan de A!

Vrouwen waren het zat. Zat om weggezet te worden, lastig gevallen te worden en niet mee te tellen in de samenleving. Dikke Trui was de plek waar vrouwen samen in actie kwamen. Michiel Teeuw, Iris Rijnsewijn en Hannelief Schipper doen archiefonderzoek naar Dikke Trui, en bekijken naast het activisme, ook de queer thema’s binnen dit archief. Ze cureren een leestafel waar je verschillende herpublicaties kunt inzien.

The Sweeties

Sweeties waren ze… en zo heten ze nog altijd… Inmiddels zijn Itie Beentjer en Nan Hendriks Roze Oldies die nog altijd samen spelen, zingen en swingen met deels eigen Roze teksten en muziek.De dames begeleiden zichzelf op diverse instrumenten. De nadruk ligt op Ierse folk met hier en daar een stevige Roze knipoog. Ervaar de magie van Roze Plezier !

Overdracht archief Dikke Trui aan Groninger Archieven

Barvrouw Inez Grondhuis is vanaf de jaren 70 betrokken bij de vrouwenbeweging in Groningen. Op zolder heeft ze een aantal dozen met documenten uit die tijd van vrouwencafés Dikke Trui, De Del, Derde Dame en De Koningin. Van gastenboek tot affiches, programmaboekjes en notulen. Belangrijke documenten die heel veel vertellen over de geschiedenis van vrouwen, vrouwenbewegingen en feminisme. Inez draagt dit archief op Roze Zaterdag officieel over aan Sebastiaan Vos van de Groninger Archieven.

De Impress-shop is een pop-up winkel gerund door de getalenteerde studenten van Noorderpoort Kunst & Multimedia. Laat je verrassen door o.a. prachtige patches lino- en zeefdrukprints, allemaal met liefde en vakmanschap gemaakt. Dit jaar staat de collectie in het teken van Roze Zaterdag, met levendige kleuren en gedurfde ontwerpen die de spirit van diversiteit en inclusiviteit perfect vangen. Steun jong talent en vind unieke kunstwerken. Normaal alleen te zien tijdens Impressfest maar nu dus ook tijdens Roze Zaterdag bij Museum aan de A!
