Poederdoos returns to Nijmegen!

After a sold-out edition during the summer festival, Poederdoos is coming back to Nijmegen on December 7th at Merleyn. Poederdoos is a colorful, underground queer club party featuring exciting drag shows and performances. The DJs will play a mix of disco, house, italo, and electro. This time on the lineup: Ays, Lysah, DJ Superdoei, Shezo Xtra, Boots, and TomPuss.

AYS is a Rotterdam-based DJ known for her warm sound. Her love for vinyl shines through in her sets, where she moves smoothly between MPB, boogie, disco, and house. Ays has played at Kappa Futur in Turin, Nuits Sonores in Lyon, Oerol, SoulfulSessions, Lowlands, and North Sea Jazz Festival. She also hosts her own radio show on Operator Radio.

With LYSAH behind the decks, the dance floor fills with an energetic and nostalgic vibe. Seamlessly mixing boogie, soul, disco, and house, she crafts warm sets that leave the crowd wanting more. She has played at Het Nest, Bound 45, Sissi’s, Royal Surfclub, Fomo, and is a resident DJ at Paak-Vinyl and Diskodip.

Is it a clown? The love child of Klaus Nomi and Miss Kittin? It’s DJ SUPERDOEI—the host, resident DJ, and mastermind of Poederdoos. This heavily made-up alien will present Poederdoos and close the night with an eclectic set of disco, house, electro, and italo.

SHEZO XTRA is a full-time drag clown and club kid phenomenon. Let yourself be swept into Shezo's outrageous world where camp, sex, and humor go hand in hand. This otherworldly drag performer will hit the stage twice, taking Poederdoos to new heights.

BOOTS is a theatrical queen who transports you to a crazy and sensual universe. Conceptual and boundary-pushing, Boots loves to take things to the extreme—in high heels, of course. Eating cigarettes? Boots does it. With countless personas, this kaleidoscopic and creative queen will perform twice at the height of Poederdoos.

TOMPUSS is a staple in Nijmegen’s drag scene, lighting up the stage with humor and charisma. As the evening's host, Tompuss has a special surprise in store for you.

SHEZO EXTRA, fulltime drag clown, en clubkidfenomeen. Laat je meevoeren in de buitenissige wereld van Shezo waar camp, seks en humor hand in hand gaan. Deze dragperformer met een buitenaards voorkomen zal op het hoogtepunt van Poederdoos het podium twee maal betreden.

BOOTS is een theatrale queen die je meeneemt naar een gestoord en sensueel universum. De conceptuele Boots zoekt de grenzen op en gaat er het liefst hooggehakt overheen. Sigaretten eten? Boots doet het. Boots kent vele karakters deze caleidoscopisch en creatieve queen zal op het hoogtepunt van Poederdoos twee maal een performance geven.

TOMPUSS is een begrip in de dragscene van Nijmegen, deze koningin licht op als ze op het podium staat. De humoristische Tompuss zal de avond hosten en heeft nog een verrassing voor jullie in petto.
