Pride in the Mauritshuis: Maurits& Janey

On May 31, the Mauritshuis will be completely dedicated to Pride! For one evening, drag sensation Janey Jacké is director of the museum. An honorable task, which she takes very seriously. You can count on an evening full of drag, glitter & glamour,  empowering  workshops, photo shoots, bingo, fun tours and great beats.

Everyone is very welcome at this party. The dress code is  Dress with Pride , so come  camera ready  in your best pride outfit. Our doors open at 7:00 PM. The first drink, our special cocktail  The Janey , is already ready for you.

Would you like to have a bite to eat first? From 6:00 PM you can visit our Brasserie for the special Mexican Dinner. After all the activities, we play one more round of Disco Bingo together. The evening ends at 11:00 PM.

About Janey Jacké

Janey Jacké is the drag alter-ego of Justin Mooijer (Volendam, 1992). He moved to Amsterdam at a young age to make his mark on the Dutch drag scene. As Janey, she managed to conquer the hearts of the general public during the first season of Drag Race Holland.

Her charm, uniqueness, nerve & talent did not go unnoticed at international level. The producers of international ratings success Rupaul's Drag Race asked her for Drag Race: Uk vs. The World on the BBC, in which she competed against drag talent from the United States, United Kingdom, Thailand and Canada.

Janey is a jury member in the RTL program Make up your mind and was, as Justin, in the latest season of Wie is de Mol. Jacké is a welcome guest at LGBTQ+ parties, drag bingos and Pride festivals thanks to her professional approach, fantastic performance, sharp sense of humor and endless charm.
