For our second Pride event, we welcome back tINI to the booth, playing b2b with Anthea. As the well known founder of ‘tINI and the Gang’ and ‘Part of the Gang Records’, and with a recent release on Circoloco Records, we have no doubt that tINI will make this Pride celebration a special one. tINI quickly became regarded as a key figure in the world of underground house and techno music, blending a wide range and variety of electronic music styles from old school house and techno to stripped down deeper sounds with her own unique mixing style. Comfortable playing on a big festival stage as well as in an intimate club or dance floor, tINI brings years of experience and musical knowledge to every gig, blending a wide range and variety of electronic music styles from old school house and techno to stripped down deeper sounds with her own unique mixing style – all wrapped up in her own unique musical DNA.

Anthea

One step to the side of hyped up buzzwords and flash-in-the-pan subgenres, Anthea Nzekwu has long been an ambassador for the most inventive, expressive and timeless house and techno out there. Having firmly established herself in the cut and thrust of the London scene, the early years of her career found her signing tracks to some of the most respected labels in the field, working in high profile collaborations and honing her reputation as a DJ. It was as a DJ that Anthea mostly made her presence felt upon arriving in Berlin, where the city’s generous set times and extended opening hours made a natural fit for the immersive narrative of her performances. Nailing the perfect balance between psychedelic excursions and killer grooves, residencies at spots such as Club Der Visionäre are testament to her skills.
