Quartz!

IDAHOTIQZ and Arti et Amicitiae will present the second Quartz on November 15! After the successful first episode, it is time for a new fusion of Queer Arts in the form of dinner, live entertainment, spoken word and a talk show. Serious and moving, fraternizing and festive moments alternate in an evening-filling program in all colors of the rainbow. And all that in the atmospheric setting of Arti et Amicitiae on the Rokin!

Plan

The evening starts with a delicious dinner, after which the guests will be presented with a dazzling program. Surprising performances by artists are alternated with interviews with artists and activists from the LHBTQI+ community, by your hosts of the evening, Don van Zanten and Pia Vapeur. We will then close the evening festively.

IDAHOTIQZ

On May 17, the day that homosexuality was declassified as a disease in 1990, IDAHOT, the international day against homophobia and transphobia, was created. IDAHOTIQZ's mission is to promote community spirit of and with the Queer community in an artistic way and, together with Arti et Amicitiae, organizes Quartz! several times a year.

Art and Friendship

Arti et Amicitiae is the House for Art and Friendship in Amsterdam. Located in a monumental building on the Rokin, Arti has been an association for and by artists since 1839. Arti presents exhibitions and events with visual arts, performances, installations, music, lectures, film screenings and literature. In the society you can have lunch, drinks, dinner and meet each other during dazzling programs such as Quartz!
