Queer Theater Workshop

We invite you to a self-healing journey through theatre games, clowning, and other performing arts that allows you to express your emotions, life experiences, and foster self-trust and trust in others.

Who can join?

The workshop is free, and we are interested in Queer people who are willing to participate in the workshop, whether you have artistic experience or not.

That might end up with a presentation (*to be discussed with participants).

The workshop is conducted by Stavros Kyrillos, an Egyptian queer theatre and performing arts instructor and director. Since 2010, he has worked with international and local organizations in Egypt, India, Lebanon, and the Netherlands, like Save the Children, IOM, UNHCR, Caritas, and Humanitas. Besides that, he is the founder of the Red Nose Egypt initiative and Hs Hs clowns troupe (the one and only clown troupe in Alexandria).
