Regenboog Week Heerenveen 2023
From 9 to 15 October 2023, Stichting Regenboogbelang Heerenveen is organising the Regenboogweek again.
International Coming Out Day is celebrated annually on October 11. On that day, the rainbow flag is hoisted all over the world to emphasise that everyone should be able to be themselves. Being yourself and feeling safe with how and who you are is important to everyone. Unfortunately, this is still not self-evident for many LGBTIs.
The Rainbow Week Heerenveen also demands extra attention for this theme this year. In addition to hoisting the flag, there will be various activities in the rainbow municipality of Heerenveen for a week to which everyone is welcome.
