Sappho loves Anita #7 - Pre-Pride edition
We feel incredibly happy after the last edition (it was fantastic again!!), so we think it's quickly time for number 7. And this time it's a real Pre Pride Edition, right in the middle of summer. Sappho still loves Anita very much, and we're looking forward to a summery party with you all. Will you dance with us again?
Note: we are starting an hour earlier this time, so at 7:00 PM. The DJs (yes, DJs, so more than one this time) and further information will be announced later. And be early, because it's going to be packed.
Café Sappho... the lesbian café of the 2000s. A legendary place for many. Where loves were formed, the line for the bathroom was absurdly long, where you always had a beer in your hand, and where you could blindly walk in on a Friday evening knowing all your friends would be there. A place that has been so important to many of us. Café Sappho closed its doors in 2010. Since 2020, De Nieuwe Anita has been its new home.

Wij voelen ons na de vorige editie enorm lucky (wat was het weer fantastisch!!) dus we vinden dat het snel tijd is voor nummer 7. En wel een heuse Pre Pride Editie, midden in de zomer. Sappho houdt nog steeds heel veel van Anita, en we hebben zin in een zomers feestje met jullie. Dansen jullie weer met ons mee?
Let op: we beginnen deze keer een uurtje eerder, dus 19:00 uur. De DJ’s (ja ja, dj’S, dus meer dan één dit keer) en verdere informatie worden later bekend gemaakt. En wees vroeg, want het wordt een volle bak.
Café Sappho… hét lesbisch café van de jaren nul. Een voor velen legendarische plek. Daar waar liefdes ontstonden, de rij voor de wc absurd lang was, waar je altijd een biertje in je hand had, en waar je op vrijdagavond blind naar binnen kon lopen wetende dat al je vrienden er zouden zijn. Een plek die voor velen van ons zo belangrijk is geweest. Café Sappho sloot haar deuren in 2010. Sinds 2020 is De Nieuwe Anita haar nieuwe thuis.
