TransPride Walk 2023

On Wednesday, August 2, 2023, the festive opening of Pride East during Pride Amsterdam will take place.

The TransPride Walk starts at 2:00 pm at the Music Dome in Oosterpark. From the Music Dome in Oosterpark, we walk to van Swindenstraat, Javastraat to Pride East at Javaplein at 3:00 pm.

We walk with a colorful parade, trans community, friends, allies, music, and a 7-meter trans flag through the streets of Amsterdam East. With the TransPride Walk, we show that you are allowed to be yourself and are safe as a trans person in Amsterdam East.

We distribute TransPride waving flags to residents. In this way, TransAmsterdam wants to make contact with the city, neighbourhood, and the residents as a trans community.
