Connect with LGBTQIA+ change-makers at The Studios by Sir Adam Hotel in Amsterdam for an inspiring evening of conversations, community, and connection. This event, hosted by We Create Space, delves into the themes of Queer Leadership, Social Innovation, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).
Join us for an engaging live talk and networking event where speakers will share their queer perspectives and personal experiences, highlighting how visibility, storytelling, and self-leadership can ignite meaningful dialogue, foster LGBTQ+ acceptance, and drive social change both locally and globally.
Event Schedule:
- 6:30 PM: Meet & Mingle
- 7:00 PM: Opening remarks by Michael Stephens (he/they), Founder & CEO of We Create Space
- 7:10 PM: Interactive panel discussion led by Sarah Massey (she/her), followed by an audience Q&A
- 8:15 PM: Networking and social time over drinks
About the Panelists:
- Sarah Massey (she/her): A dynamic entrepreneur, founder of Massey Media, and creator of freeQ, Sarah champions queer joy and amplifies changemaker voices. Her ventures center on elevating LGBTQ+ talent and building bold, impactful brands.
- Barbara Platier (she/her): Co-Chair of JTI PRIDE ERG BeNeLux and Women of Pride Ambassador for Western Europe, Barbara organizes queer women’s events under the name Sidechick. With expertise in sales and project management, she brings passion and creativity to every endeavor.
- Karim El Oteify (he/him): Founder of The Wheels of Impact, Karim leverages storytelling, workshops, and consultancy to advance DEI and foster inclusivity. His work reflects a deep commitment to sustainable change and supporting diverse communities.
- Don Dominic (he/him): Global DEI Manager at Henkel, Don is an advocate for LGBTQ+ inclusion, intersectionality, and empathetic leadership. With a background spanning India, Singapore, and Amsterdam, Don also brings a passion for yoga and spirituality to his work.
